Gabriela Mayorga-Adame visited Theiss Research for two weeks in April 2007 to prepare for her subsequent three-month visit to the Institute of Marine (IMS) Sciences in Zanzibar from April to July 2007. At IMS she set up an idealized Regional Ocean Modeling System (ROMS) model of the Zanzibar Channel and carried out various studies. She also provided training on ROMS to four IMS research staff.
